View Annual Report 2022-2023 Honor Roll of Donors CREATING IMPACT Our Scientists are Changemakers Last year, we testified before the Philadelphia City Council, calling for the adoption of universal smell and taste testing as part of routine healthcare. The resulting resolution, introduced by Councilmember Jamie Gauthier, declared November 2023 as Smell and Taste Testing month, a foundational step towards better health and well-being in Philadelphia and around the globe. More About the Resolution TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES Monell Science Apprenticeship Program The immersive summer experience provides talented high school and undergraduate students, particularly those groups traditionally underrepresented in the sciences, the space, resources and training to conduct an independent research project. The application to join our 2024 cohort is now closed. Successful applicants will be notified by April 1, 2024.
